Ross Taylor is a New Zealand International Cricket Player. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm off-breaker.
Ross Taylor is from the home town of Lower Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand. He is one of the fine greatest batsman and highest century scorer in ODI. Taylor is the only first ODI New Zealand player to secure 20 centuries.
Taylor initially in school ages played hockey and later started focusing on the cricket. For the Taylor best performance, he got selected in the Under-19 cricket team. Then, he promoted as the captain for the U-19 team. After this, Taylor played in the First-class matches till International matches.
Ross Taylor played the first ODI game against the West Indies team on March 2006 in which he scored only 15 runs. On the Next match, he scored 31 runs although West Indies Won the match.
Taylor scored the first maiden ODI century of 128 runs against Sri Lankan team. This event helped Taylor to prove his batting skills and known to the international cricket fans.
From the 218 ODI games Taylor played, he scored around 8,026 runs, 20 centuries, 47 half-centuries and has the high score of 181 runs. Taylor didn’t get an opportunity for bowling as he bowled only 42 balls in ODI career.
In Test Career, Taylor played the first debut match against South Africa on November 2007. He faced 28 deliveries and scored 15 runs. As this Taylor’s first test games, he took some time to come to good batting form.
On March 2008, Taylor scored his first maiden test century of 120 runs against England. He had some ups and downs in the test games, but after 2012 Taylor showed excellent batting performance.
Of 90 test games Taylor played, He secured 6523 runs, 17 centuries, 30 half-centuries and has the top score of 290 runs.
On March 2010, When Daniel Vettori dropped from the game, Taylor appointed as the ODI captain for the New Zealand team. In this particular match, Taylor has secured 70 runs and awarded as Man of the Match. After the end of the ODI, Taylor scored the fastest test century from 81 deliveries. In later games, he also scored the double century twice on 2013 and 2015.
Tayloe performance on 2011 world cup is also very notable. On one of the match Pakistan, he scored his highest score of 131 runs and fourth batsman to score the ODI century on the birthday.

Ross Taylor initially played in IPL for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team on 2008. Also, his score of 81 runs from 33 balls is notable and won the hearts of many RCB fans.
Later, Taylor also played for Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Daredevils, and Pune Warriors India. Taylor widely praised for his excellent batting and had a stable striking rate.
