MS Dhoni is the most famous Indian Cricketer. He is a Right-handed batsman and Medium right-handed bowler from the hometown Jharkhand.

Early Career
Dhoni initially started playing cricket in the local cricket club at the school ages. For the best performance as a wicketkeeper, he got selected in the Commando cricket club. Later, Dhoni showed consistency batting in many club games and earned a place in the Kharagpur railway station. Then, Dhoni got to play in Bihar cricketer team, Jharkhand cricket team and India A team.
International Career
Dhoni played the first debut ODI match against Bangladesh on December 2004 in which dismissed without scoring any runs. But later, Dhoni became the most powerful player and captain for the Indian team.
Under Dhoni’s Captaincy, India is No 1 in Test Ranking since 2009, Won World T20 cup and World cup in 2011.
Before becoming a cricketer, he was working as a ticket inspector in Indian railways. Later, he joined Kolkatta Cricket club and played well. In 2004, while playing in India A team Dhoni scored two century against Pakistan.
After Rahul Dravid gave up the captaincy in 2007, Dhoni leads the Indian team for a match against South Africa. The Indians win most of the trophies after Dhoni being a captain. The 2011 World cup won by India proved Dhoni’s smart captaincy.

After winning the world cup in 2011 against Sri Lanka, the teamwork continued for the next few years. But after losing continuously in test matches, Dhoni was put under pressure. The home match against was also lost (2-1), which made Dhoni to focus the change on his career.
As a Captain, Dhoni was started building a new team and played very impressive innings against Australia. In 2012-13 India again lost the test series against South Africa and New Zealand.
The England tour 2014 was promissive, and India excitingly won the first match. But the other two games against England was lost. After this, Dhoni is very much improved his batting style and was in the form once again.
In Australia tour, India played well and won the series, which was also led by Virat Kohli. When Dhoni injured, Virat Kohli heads the team for the first test match as a captain. On the end of test series, Dhoni made the surprise announcement about his retiring in test matches.
He has ended the test matches with the fantastic achievement of 4876 runs and six hundred. Later, he led the team to win Asia cup against the Bangladesh and semi-finals in World T20.
In IPL, his performance in the Chennai team is very well recognized. During captaincy, Chennai Super Kings has won 3 final matches and runner up in four final games.
